Generally ships within 1-2 weeks from order date. Shipping time depends on your distance from our manufacturing plant in southern California.

Shipping policy
Order Confirmation
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm shipment availability. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via email. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment. Ordering processing takes between 1-2 business days on average.

Order Shipment Status
If your order is available for shipment and we process the charges to your credit card, it will typically ship within 3-5 business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within 7 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at support@escapeurbanlife.com.
No shipping outside of the USA.
Wrong Shipping Information
If the shipping information you enter at the checkout is incorrect or inaccurate, we will try and track down the item that was dispatched by ours and our suppliers shipping carriers. No refunds/returns are available if the incorrect or inaccurate shipping information is provided, however we will try our best to track the item down.

If the item can be tracked down, fees of up to 25% of the item can be charged to reship the item.

Order Changes
Please contact us immediately with any changes to your order. Note that custom and preordered pieces cannot be swapped for other designs. Applicable fees may apply.

Shipment Not Received
If you have successfully placed an order and have not received your shipment within the delivery date on the tracking page while the tracking status is marked as delivered, you must first contact the freight/shipping carrier to locate your shipment as once the shipment is dispatched by the shipping/freight carrier, we have no control over the delivery.

Cancellations (Before Order Ships)
Please contact us as soon as possible to cancel an order so that we can give you a complete refund before your order leaves the warehouse. During regular business hours, you can reach our representatives by phoning (307) 622-4385, chatting online, or sending an email to support@escapeurbanlife.com.
All cancellations that occur after the item has been shipped require a 25% restocking fee. No fee is required if the item has not been shipped.

Cancellations of Custom & Built-to-Order Orders
Products that are made expressly for your purchase, such as those that are custom made or built-to-order, cannot be canceled or given a refund unless explicitly stated on the product page.

As soon as your order is placed, these custom products start being produced according to your specifications. The products will be guaranteed to be completely functional and operating within your warranty (refer to the specific product page). Call us or send a message if you're not sure whether your order is custom-made or built-to-order. For this category of products, all sales are final unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Shipping Options
Our standard shipping is free for the majority of our brands!* This option usually takes between 3-5 business days to arrive at your doorstep, after it has shipped (excludes handling time).

Due to an increase in demand on shipping networks, we have experienced a sharp increase in shipping rates on products from certain suppliers within the United States of America. Certain brands and their products (listed above) are not eligible for free shipping for this reason. This applies to any oversized/heavy products you are purchasing from the list above. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Products from the brands listed above require special handling and therefore have a shipping cost associated with the order(s).
All shipping fees (and free shipping) apply the United States addresses. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Damages & Issues
Please examine the packaging carefully after receiving your item(s) to look for any damage. Please report any imperfections when signing for delivery if you find any. Send photos of the damage, the box, the SKU, and a brief description of the damage to support@escapeurbanlife.com if your item(s) arrive damaged. On your behalf, we'll file an insurance claim to the manufacturer/supplier. Photos and videos of freight damage must be supplied within 24 hours of shipment arrival for them to be considered valid. Additionally, all punctures and obvious outside damage must be notified within 24 hours.
Shipping Concerns
Please share any concerns regarding product delivery to your location to avoid delays, frustration and additional costs.
Please note that the following may bring additional costs:
Charges the freight company levies if an 18-wheeler truck cannot access the delivery location
Transport restrictions for truck height or bridge laws
Deliveries to islands
Road or access restrictions
Delivery requires the use of ferry, train, plane or additional courier transport
Shipment Delivery Information
Someone must be available to accept the shipment delivery. If you are unavailable during normal business hours, you must contact the carrier directly to reschedule delivery. If you are not available during normal business hours and you miss the shipment delivery, the shipment may be sent back to us and you will incur additional charges for this. You could also incur a second delivery fee as well.
The dispatcher at your local terminal can assist you with scheduling a delivery date and can often arrange a morning or afternoon shipment delivery. Please work with that dispatcher to get a timeslot convenient for you.
To ensure accurate, safe, and fast delivery of your shipment, it is critical that you read this policy carefully and thoroughly.
You must inspect your entire shipment before the driver leaves. Please remove the items from the packaging and carefully inspect them.

You must note any/all damages found to packaging materials and to physical products received ON the DELIVERY BILL of LADING. You must also send us an email with all necessary information (photos, order number, product name, brief description of the damage) to support@escapeurbanlife.com.
If there is damage, save all of the packaging for the product(s). Do not throw the packaging away. The freight company may want to inspect it.
IMPORTANT: If the damage is cosmetic and you would like to keep the item you must write “Damaged” & also describe the cosmetic damages of the product(s) in detail on the BOL. DO NOT write subject to inspection as this will not cover your damage or claim. The noted damage allows us to file a claim on your behalf to the supplier. If the damage is beyond cosmetic and you want a new shipment of the product(s), you are required to refuse the product(s) from the freight company. Once you sign the BOL, and do not note down the damage, (even if the damage is concealed), you are releasing Escape Urban Life and the freight company from all liability. This is why it is important to take the product(s) out of the packaging material and inspect all of it while the freight driver is there.
Do not throw away any of the product packaging until you confirm all items from your shipment are there. Small items such as fin bolts, screws, etc. can be lost if proper care is not taken with the product packaging.
Important additional information:
Vent screws are included with most of the modern windsurfing / SUP boards. These vent screws are usually wrapped in bubble pack and shipped in the mast box area or fin of your board. It is IMPORTANT that you secure these snug in place before you use your board in the water. Failure to do so will allow water to seep into the hull which can lead to problems and weight gain for your board. The vent plug hole openings are typically found around the mast box on the deck of a board. You only have 24 hours to file a claim. You are required to inspect all shipment deliveries within 24 HOURS or you lose the ability to file a freight claim.

If there any differences between Escape Urban Life policies and the manufacturer policies, the manufacturer policies supersedes Escape Urban Life policies.

Warranty

Leitner Designs warrants product to be free from defects in material and workmanship, for terms specified below, provided there has been normal use and proper maintenance. All remedies under this warranty are limited to the repair or replacement of any item found by the factory to be defective within the time period specified. If you have a warranty claim, first you must call our factory at the number below for instructions. You must retain proof of purchase and submit a copy with any items returned for warranty work. Upon completion of warranty work, if any, we will return the repaired or replaced item(s) to you freight prepaid by you. Damage to our products caused by accidents, fire, vandalism, negligence, mis-installation, misuse, Acts of God, or by defective parts not manufactured by us, is not covered under this warranty.

THE WARRANTY TIME PERIOD IS AS FOLLOWS: (2) TWO YEARS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. High-speed off-road driving even with a light load can cause damage to the rack, accessories and vehicle body. Damage caused by high-speed off-road driving and abuse is not covered under warranty.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE CREATED HEREBY ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE SAME DURATION AND SCOPE AS THE EXPRESS WRITTEN WARRANTY. OUR COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
