Warranty

HARD PARTS WARRANTY -HARD PARTS INCLUDE; FRAME, PLASTICS, STRUTS AND BRACKETS

All of our products are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 3 years. This does not cover finishes such as plating, or painted surfaces, discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the part or assembly, which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any part that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, modified or just has normal wear and tear. It is our discretion to refinish, rework or replace the part depending on the circumstance and time of use. Before sending a replacement part to you, we must receive the original, defective part back first or have an agreement prior to sending replacement part.

We do not under any circumstances refund shop labor for installation or disassembly of a product, painters cost for painting, or any other 3rd party vender related to use of the product.

SOFT PARTS WARRANTY -SOFT PARTS INCLUDE; FABRICS, CLOTHING, PATCHES AND DECALS.

Your BA Tent was thoroughly inspected by our manufacturer and again by us prior to shipping to you and left our shop in great condition. Once you start using the tent, we will not replace the fabrics/windows if you rip or tear, get it stuck during up and down operations, your dog ate it, etc. Fabrics are not impervious to damage and cannot be warranted once used. That said, if you have any of the above happen during your adventures, we're happy to help get your tent repaired at cost by our manufacturer.

BA Tents stands firmly behind its product lines and customer value commitment. We offer a 3-year warranty against all defects in material and workmanship on all products and components; products receiving proper care but failing due to a defect will be fixed or replaced as required at the discretion of BA Tents. Other product repairs, due to negligence and/or normal wear-and-tear, can be performed at a reasonable cost to the consumer. Damage caused by wind or other acts of Mother Nature, including UV damage and rust, mold/mildew are not covered by warranty. Pole damage due to improper setup is not covered by warranty. *Note: material/color fading does not denote defect. Fiberglass poles occasionally split and are not covered by warranty, regardless of age.

Alteration or modification to the item automatically voids the warranty.

In order for an item to be repaired or replaced we must have the defective item back first. Keep the original sales receipt. In all cases, regardless of warranty registration or prior correspondence, a sales receipt or forwarded online order confirmation is required to obtain warranty service or replacement. Bank or credit card statements are not accepted as proof of purchase. The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser only and is not transferable. Whether the item is repaired or replaced is at the discretion of BA Tents. BA Tents is not responsible for packages lost or damaged while in transit and they are not covered by warranty. Packages lost or stolen once delivered are not covered by warranty and are not subject to automatic replacement.

Vehicle Load Considerations

There are a number of things to consider when working out your vehicle’s load rating, and we want to help you understand the capacity of your racks and vehicle roof. Firstly, different vehicles have different roof ratings. You need to know the load rating of your vehicle. This information will be easy to find in your vehicle’s owners manual.

Secondly, there are a few different load ratings you need to understand. There are on-road and static ratings for all vehicles, as well as off-road ratings for vehicles that can travel off-road.

On-road refers to the load rating of a vehicle when traveling on a sealed road.

A static rating is the load rating of a stationary vehicle and is necessary if you’re using a rooftop tent for example.

The off-road load rating refers to a vehicle traveling on an unsealed road that does not contain a surface protection layer. Sometimes, manufacturers will list the load ratings in the vehicle’s owner's manual.

Lastly, it is important to remember, if you buy an accessory or holder and attach it to your rack or tray, you must also include the weight of these in your cargo allowance.

It is very unsafe to overload your vehicle. The “just wing it” approach is not appropriate in this context, and failure to follow the load ratings in each circumstance could result in damage to your vehicle, potential loss of your load, voiding warranty or insurance or cause traffic accidents. It’s illegal to overload your vehicle.
