Orders received before 12:30 PST will ship the same day, typically via FedEx standard ground. Your gear should get to you within 1-5 business days (check out the below maps). Expedited shipping is available - we can provide a quote (just a heads up that heavy tents come with a hefty cost to ship much quicker). We will email you a tracking number once your order goes out the door and keep in touch with you to make sure that all is well! Sorry, we do not pay for return shipping.
Please note that Life Intents will not be held responsible for lost, stolen or missing boxes if the packages that show a proof of delivery by the shipping agent.
Bell tent shipping costs to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, United Kingdom, or Puerto Rico are provided during the checkout process.
Note that shipments to other countries will likely require payment of a duty tax once purchased items arrives.
Attention Canadian & European Customers: we have seen import duties/taxes on our tents range between 12%-25% of the purchase price. Please see below for estimates based on your country.

Canadian Estimated HST And GST Shipping Rates BY Province
Canada has a 5% goods and services tax (GST) that applies to most sales. Some provinces either charge an additional provincial sales tax (PST), or use a harmonized sales tax (HST) that includes the GST. These will be collected upon delivery, and are additional to the product and shipping costs.
GST and HST rates by province
- 5% in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Yukon (GST only)
- 13% in Ontario (HST)
- 15% in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island (HST)
Provincial sales tax: PST, RST, and QST
Some provinces charge their own PST rate in addition to the GST:
- British Columbia - 7% provincial sales tax (PST)
- Manitoba - 7% retail sales tax (RST)
- Quebec - 9.975% Quebec sales tax (QST)

U.K. And European Union VAT Estimate
Countries within the European Union and in the United Kingdom charge a value-added tax, or VAT. The minimum value of this tax is 15%, but each member country sets their own rates.
Returns:
Life can throw us curveballs and you may need to ship us back your unused items, we get it. Our small business offers the following solution for those moments.
We offer a 45-day return policy time frame to refund purchases of unused merchandise. Items must be returned in the original package, unused, with all original parts to be refunded credit per the terms below. Refunds are credited back to the same credit card used for payment. We covered the shipping charges to you, however, returns unfortunately do not qualify for free shipping.
The cost of shipping items back will by the responsibility of the customer. Please note shipping can be expensive and varies depending on the distance, size and weight of the product (especially tents). Customers returning products will also be liable for a 5% restocking fee (this covers pesky credit card processing fees, inspection, and repackaging costs).
Please e-mail us prior to return to receive authorization number and return instructions.
Once we receive the item and confirmed that it is unused and in resalable shape, we will issue a refund (minus the restocking fee) within 5 days of receipt - pending product inspection. Note: We unfortunately can't take responsibly for any packages getting lost or damaged during their return journey.
If merchandise is damaged during delivery to you, we ask you notify Life inTents immediately so that we can remedy the situation.
Sorry, we cannot allow for the return of used tents, gear or accessories.
Order cancellations prior to items shipping will require a 3% fee deducted from the order refund to compensated for credit card transaction fees.

Canvas Tent & Accessories Warranty
All purchases come with LIFE time support!
Please send us images of your tent pitched tent so we can help provide tips about the set-up to help minimize any possible long-term stress from the environment or rigging that may impact the warranty coverage.
We stand behind our craftsmanship! Life inTent™ branded bell tents & accessories carry a limited 30-month warranty against defects in the workmanship and materials when our tents are used for recreational purposes. Any bell tent whose quality is compromised will be repaired (or in special circumstanced replaced) for free, at our discretion. Return freight requires customer prepayment.
The tent warranty does not cover damages arising from normal use, including improper set-up, mold, mildew, UV exposure, extreme weather, wood stove and air conditioner use, fire, damage during storage, sewn-in zippers, nor fabric holes or damage caused by neglect or accidents. Warranty does not cover improper guy rope rigging if tent is placed on a deck platform. Warranty is not valid if unapproved canvas cleaning or protective chemical products are used, improper cleaning methods used, or aftermarket customizations are made to the tent materials or hardware.
Tents used for set-up for long-term use greater than 21 consecutive days at time do not qualify for the 30-month warranty. Such use does however come with a 12-month warranty. Any bell tent whose quality is compromised will be repaired or replaced for free, at our discretion. Return freight requires customer prepayment.
We of course will still provide a lifetime of support after the 1 year period to help solve for any challenges that you may encounter with the tent.
Warranty only is valid to to original purchaser of new tents.
Camping Gear, Furniture Tools Warranty
All items not manufactured by Life inTents will follow warranty terms provided by the manufacturing company. Please reach out to them first. We are are happy to help with the process if your efforts are not progressing as desired.
